Intravenous therapies

The IV Room offers a range of intravenous therapies. In partnership with your health care provider, The IV Room is able to provide individually selected IV therapies.

The IV Room offers a range of intravenous therapies

The IV Room offers a range of intravenous therapies that range from vitamins and minerals which are important nutrients, oxidative therapies which assist our metabolism, microcirculation, immune function, reducing inflammation, disabling cell walls of bacteria, virus, protozoa and fungi, anti-oxidant, detoxification, increasing mitochondrial ATP (energy currency of the cell), improving delivery of oxygen and immune-modulating.

In partnership with your health care provider, The IV Room is able to provide individually selected IV therapies. IV therapies work as part of an integrated approach to health building and disease management, which is ultimately aimed at providing the body a pathway to more optimal function.

It may seem surprising that such therapies can influence such a wide variety of illnesses and dysfunction, however, they influence some important fundamental components that constitute robust health. None of these treatments seek to specifically treat named diseases as such, however they are directed at improving fundamental processes in the body.

To re-iterate, IV therapies can improve oxygen delivery to tissue which is necessary for normal function of any system or tissue, improvement of detoxification processes by removing substances which inhibit normal metabolic function, and delivery of nutrients which are essential to bio chemical pathways that perform a multitude of functions in the cells of the body.

IV Therapy can help:

  • Improve tissue oxygenation
  • Improve cellular nutrition
  • Help fight infection
  • Eliminate toxins
  • Improve microcirculation
  • Improve anti-oxidant status

Post viral recovery

Recovery to feeling well again after a viral illness can be a slow process. Due to the high demand for post viral recovery over the last few years, we have found some IV protocols that may assist patients’ return to health. One of two protocols are used depending on the patient’s health profile. You can fill out a new patient form on our website for our doctor to review and make recommendations.

Are your IV bags microplastic free?

At the IV room we only use 100% PVC and DEHP IV bags, so that no microplastics can leach into your IV’s.

Treatments

The IV Room offers a range of intravenous therapies. We are able to measure your oxidative stress to determine an IV therapy treatment plan unique to you.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C infusions can deliver this powerful anti oxidant to the tissues in much higher doses than is possible orally.

Myers cocktail

The Myers Cocktail can be helpful for patients experiencing chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, muscle spasms, respiratory tract infections.

Vitamin injections

Vitamin injections can boost energy levels and stimulate the immune system, as well as helping with stress, jetlag and sleep problems.

Chelation therapy

Chelation Therapy uses specific chelators to remove toxic metals from the body.

Iron infusions

An iron infusion is used in iron deficiency when oral supplements do not work.

Nutrients

At the core of all bodily system function is the cell, and as a starting point for optimal cellular function is the mileu in which the cell exists. In cellular biology, it is basic knowledge that the way a cell culture functions is dependant on the ‘niche’ in which one suspends the cells. In the human body, there are a multitude or regulatory systems that work towards keeping the internal environment stable, in its optimal state.

Detoxification

Heavy metals, pesticides and plastics have made their way into the ecology of the planet, so that none of us escape these influences. Some individuals are genetically geared for efficient detoxification, whereas others accumulate toxins and suffer the multitude of disruptions that they can cause to cell signalling and energy production.  In the post-industrial age, we are exposed to toxins from a variety of sources, including: by-products of chlorination in drinking water and bath water, air pollution, pesticides and herbicides from food, parks, golf courses, plasticizers and coatings in our bottles and packaging, mercury from dental amalgams and in seafood.
